The Mercedes-Benz GLE has always been a very popular vehicle in its segment. The 2020 GLE is currently offered in two versions, the GLE 350 4MATIC and the GLE 450 4MATIC, which starts at $64,000 and $72,000 respectively. Both the Mercedes-Benz GLE 350 4MATIC and the GLE 450 4MATIC offer an impressive combination of power, towing capacity, and efficiency. The first engine available is a new turbocharged 2.0-litre four-cylinder engine that delivers 255 horsepower and 273 pound-feet of torque. This engine is paired to a nine-speed automatic gearbox that delivers smooth shifts and gives the owner the ability to truly exploit the performances of the engine in a refined and comfortable manner.
The second engine is a 3.0-litre inline-six turbo that delivers 362 horsepower and 369 pound-feet of torque. This engine gives the GLE the ability to reach 100 km/h in just 5.7 seconds which, as most will agree, is quite impressive for an SUV capable of towing 3,500 kg and with room for up to seven passengers. There’s also 630 litres of cargo space behind the rear seats and a total of 2,055 litres of cargo capacity inside the new GLE.
The interior of the Mercedes-Benz GLE has also been completely redesigned. It features new infotainment touchscreens as well as the new Mercedes-Benz MBUX system.
