2020 Mercedes-Benz GLC Quick Take..
October 29 2019, Mercedes-Benz Richmond
Unveiled at this year’s Geneva Motor Show, the new 2020 Mercedes-Benz GLC takes the current GLC’s features and upgrades them for an even more luxurious, connected experience. It also adds more power to the entry-level engine without making it consume more fuel. It’s the evolution of an already popular model that makes it better in every way.
The biggest change to the 2020 Mercedes-Benz GLC can be found inside the cabin, where a new design that uses more luxurious materials can be found. Two central touchscreens now dominate the interior with the new MBUX infotainment system serving as the central command centre for all of your needs. With MBUX, you can use advanced voice commands to speak naturally to your vehicle and adjust whatever settings need to be adjusted. The system uses a simple command, “Hey, Mercedes,” to access a variety of functions and capabilities. Advanced artificial intelligence adapts the system to the preferences of the user over time, thus making the experience more personal and much more connected.
Powering the entry-level Mercedes-Benz GLC is a turbocharged four-cylinder engine that delivers 255 horsepower and 273 pound-feet of torque. That’s currently the most powerful engine in the compact luxury SUV segment and will give the new 2020 GLC impressive towing capabilities and on-road performance. This model will eventually be joined by more powerful AMG versions. The 2020 Mercedes-Benz GLC will arrive in North America towards the end of 2019.
